Michel Sonnenburg
Director of Instruction - Oshawa Golf & Curling Club
Michel Sonnenburg is a PGA of Canada member and achieved his Class “A” status in 2016. In 2015 he earned his Bachelor of Business Golf Management degree from Georgian College where he was a member of the men’s intercollegiate golf team. Michel served as an assistant professional at both Cedar Brae Golf Club and The National Golf Club of Canada. From 2017-2021, he worked as a Golf coach at the Henry Brunton Golf Academy (Eagles Nest) where he had the opportunity to learn from one of the world’s leading golf coaches and educators, Henry Brunton. More recently, Michel has been working as Director of Instruction at Oshawa Golf & Curling Club, and works as Assistant Coach for the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks.
Michel has a deep passion for the game and helping others improve. In addition to completing his PGA of Canada training, he has earned certifications with US Kids Golf, Trackman University, Scott Cowx, and as well as the Certified Golf Coaches Association.
