Michel Sonnenburg
Director Of Instruction - Oshawa Golf & Curling Club
Michel Sonnenburg is a PGA of Canada member and achieved his Class “A” status in 2016. In 2015 he earned his Bachelor of Business Golf Management degree from Georgian College where he was a member of the men’s intercollegiate golf team. Michel served as an assistant professional at both Cedar Brae Golf Club and The National Golf Club of Canada. From 2017-2021, he worked as a Golf coach at the Henry Brunton Golf Academy (Eagles Nest) where he had the opportunity to learn from one of the world’s leading golf coaches and educators, Henry Brunton.
Michel has a deep passion for the game and helping others improve. In addition to completing his PGA of Canada training, he has earned certifications with US Kids Golf, Trackman University, Scott Cowx, and as well as the Certified Golf Coaches Association.

Our lessons take place on the north end of the driving range at Oshawa Golf & Curling Club, which features a bentgrass tee deck, chipping and putting greens, and a fairway bunker

Yes, you can use the lessons in your package for semi-private lessons with a friend or family member if you'd like.

Each lesson is tailored to your specific needs and goals, and uses the latest teaching methods and technology to help you improve your skills. During the lesson, you'll receive personalized feedback on your technique, as well as guidance on areas where you can improve. Our instructors use video analysis to provide even more detailed feedback and help you identify areas where you can make improvements

We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of lessons. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, the lesson will be forfeited.
